Business Lobbying Consultant
With over two decades of experience in Florida’s political and legislative process, Julie brings a wealth of knowledge and insight when advocating for issues on behalf of clients.
Julie began her career in Central Florida while working in the Florida House of Representatives. As a senior legislative assistant for the Senate Budget Chairman and Majority Leader, she played a key role in navigating numerous high-profile policy and funding initiatives to the Governor’s desk. Julie served as the Chief Legislative Assistant for the Speaker of the Florida House as key policy advisor and liaison for local government and community groups. Her extensive involvement in both the House and Senate has provided for a unique perspective to the inner-workings of the Capitol.
She brings a personal, familial approach to representing clients before the Legislature, ensuring each client receives individual attention and is able to participate directly in the messaging and lobbying strategy meetings when desired. Julie strives to help clients find opportunities of which they may not be aware and takes the time to guide them through any regulatory processes. She’ll work hard with each client throughout the year to provide an action plan designed to achieve strategic goals before, during, and after each legislative session.
During her time in the lawmaking and budgeting process, she has consciously cultivated critical relationships with members of the House and Senate and has developed close relationships with multiple members of the Appropriations committees in both branches of the legislature.
A native Floridian and graduate of the University of Central Florida, Julie is an active member of her community, serving on the local Community-Based Care board, the Winter Springs Babe Ruth Athletic Association, Seminole County Public Schools Business Advisory Board, and numerous other education-related organizations. Julie and her family reside in Lake Mary, FL.
