Benefits of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion

DEI has the potential to positively address biases and prejudices that may happen within an organization. Showing that DEI is important to your organization as well as your training strategy will go a long way in showing dedication to creating a truly inclusive workplace. Having and implementing that strategy has many benefits for your people and your business.

“Studies show businesses that embrace gender diversity are 15% more competitive than their peers. Companies that are more racially and ethnically diverse are 35% more likely to beat national industry median financial returns. Having a DEI strategy in place can have a direct impact on the financial bottom line and create a more welcoming work environment for your business or organization.”

3 Step Process for DEI Training

1. Assessment

We provide data-driven results. We conduct assessments based on qualitative and quantitative research to fully understand our client’s challenges. The assessments examine all aspects of the organization including but not limited to the following:

  • Policies and procedures
  • Recruitment, retention, and promotion
  • Engagement
  • Operations and processes

The results of the assessments inform the development of customized, actionable strategic plans. The assessments also examine the training gaps and needs of the organization. Assessments utilize the following tools and techniques: surveys, focus groups, interviews, and audits.

2. Strategy

We translate insights into action. We partner with our clients to co-create a sustainable DEI roadmap incorporating actionable tactics that meet organizational goals. Some of our tactics include:

  • DEI Advisory Services
  • Trainings and Workshops
  • Leadership Coaching
  • DEI Councils
  • C-Suite & Board Development
  • Recruitment Services
  • Policy Development
  • Communications

3. Implementation

We bring DEI strategies to life. We assist our client with the execution of the objectives outlined in their DEI action plan and implementation strategy, identifying the steps necessary to achieve their goals. Our program also includes the development of leadership structures to guide the decision-making process, provide transparency, and engage staff. The structure offers both short- and long-term monitoring and evaluation that consider several areas including internal staffing practices, policies and procedures, leadership oversight, and ongoing education and accountability. We also develop standardized short and long-term data dashboards and KPIs to guide decision making, assess progress and communicate results.
